Tasting notes Vermentino (given a 9 day maceration), together with Grenache Blanc and Macabeu in a skin contact wine named for the vividly orange-coloured loquats so beloved across southern Europe. This does a pretty good passing impression of that fruit’s piercing acidity and fleshy, fruity character with a healthy dose of spice and hint of grip for good measure.
